FIT FOR 55:
HOW CAN WE DECARBONISE
HEATING AND COOLING?

Date: December 9 th , 2021
Time: 11 a.m. CET

Recently published EU’s environmental initiative, “Fit for 55”, set the European Union on course to bring the greenhouse gas emissions down by at least 55% by 2030.

In order for Europe to become the world’s first climate neutral continent and enable the European Green Deal to take effect, these emission reductions must be achieved by the next decade.

The placed proposal has particularly highlighted the importance of modernising heating and cooling solutions as an integral part of reaching emission reduction targets.

Why to join:

  • to discuss openly and raise awareness how the construction industry can influence in minimizing the carbon footprint related to heating and cooling
  • key discussion points are the importance of clean energy supply, energy efficient solutions and their benefits and limitations, and discussing alternative measures.

The panel discussion is planned to take place on the 9th of December from 11:00 to 12:00 (CET),
Language: English
